Ye gods. I don't dig early 60s pop, but respect that anyway!
£300 tres pricy though urgh. You gonna save up, or sorta -wish- the money? Luckily I haven't got into a similar situation: the frustration would be maddening!

Afraid I only have 80 smiley - sadface

Adrian Smith and Kerry King are the ones for cool shaped guitars. So cool... smiley - smiley

My bass picked up last years "best guitar" award in Bassist mag. You'd think that would give me a clue as to what make it is, but no...

The best 80;s rock I've heard was the one I told you about Mike......Yngwie Malmsteens ( The Magnum Opus Albulm)! smiley - winkeye The first track is f*****g brilliant!!!! smiley - smiley

My friend Loz just lent me her Metalica Master of Puppets CD haven't had a chance to listen to it all the way through but it seems good!
My Fav at the moment though is Lit Place in the Sun oh and of course Nirvana Nevermind now that's class!

The new Greenday albulm was a little dissapointing though I think it's one of these thinks you really have to listen to it and get into it I suppose! Some of the tracks are great though! smiley - smiley

I read about YM on the famous Denim & Leather website. I found loads of good 80s bands on there that sound like they're worth checking out. "Europe", anyone?

I got a mate nicknamed Loz too. And another who's heard Master of Puppets. He didn't like it, so I took his word for it. He also likes Green Day, who I despise.

Loz is short for Lawrence smiley - winkeye
And I don't like Green Day because the singing is off-putting, uninspired and, frankly, awful. Any middle-aged guy can drone and drone and pretend to be singing. That's what punk thrives off!
Plus, the playing is mediocre. There's nothing special in there.

As for Metallica bass: I'm on a rush right now so things that require heavy thought will need thinking later. I will consider what you say, Grunger Buay.
