Note to author: I liked this, I can remember when goalkeepers were physical players rather than protected. They usually got the best of any encounter

The addition of the hyphen there was added in response to a point made in the Peer Review stage. In retrospect, a second hyphen after the word 'bigger' would make this more elegant.
