A Conversation for Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

1. Aix la Chapelle is spelled with dashes: Aix-la-Chapelle.
2. It is called so only in French speaking regions. In Spain, they call it Aquisgran, in Italy Aquisgrana and in the Netherlands Aken.
3. I don't know whether the Germans were Celtic. I think this is a contradiction, but I am not sure myself.
4. Aachen is NOT a derivative of Aquisgranum, but of a much older name; Aha or something like that.
Besides that, a very nice article that really does justice to Aachen (and h2g2)!
