smiley - ermYou don't have to wait until the bananas get overripe and go black...fresh ones are just as good done this way. (The skins will go black anyway during cooking.)

So, slit a 'nana today and enjoy! smiley - ok

True, but it's a delicious way of eating them when they go over-ripe, to save chucking them away.

This is true...but it doesn't happen in my house as my kids eat the bananas as soon as they get into the fruitbowl! I have been forced to use even underripe bananas for the bbq dessert! smiley - bigeyes
