A Conversation for Catseyes

Electric eyes

Ta 4 an interesting entry.

A "T" junction near me had the LED road studs fitted about 2 years ago. At the time they were fitted, the junction was clearly marked out with LED's that sat there flickering ever so slightly. (I believe the flickering is meant to save power) Since then, the studs have failed one by one so that now there are only a couple left. Also, from the look of them, they are permanenly bonded to the road, so replacement may take longer than traditional catseyes where I believe the central rubber element can be removed without removing the shoe from the road.

So for all the budding designers out there, please remember to KISS smiley - kiss - keep it simple, stupid!!!

actually it sounds interesting but probably it is not that effective afterall but cats eyes are a good attempt to the drivers unaware of the sharp turns but definitely a flickering hope to readers
