Escape Pod Dreams, the "Throw away your TV" Issue

Television has its uses, and a home DVD system can be entertaining.

Any form of diversion, including reading and watching paint dry, can be overdone, though. I have occasionally found it useful to live in a house without a TV set for a year or so at a time. This is one of those times.

More reasons why worshipping the one-eyed idol is not such a good thing in large doses:
