Hi, There is another Burrey Man parade in South Queensferry on the Firth of Forth.
Just thought you'd like to know.

The South Queensferry Burry Man parade happens the second week of August usually. The BurryMan, completely covered in burrs and carrying two floral staves, parades through every street in the town, assisted by two members of the local masonic lodge. As he tends to stop at every other house for a fortifying "wee dram"; he is fairly heavily dependent on his two assistants by the end of the afternoon!
