Just to make my views known to the people. I say "my views" when what I really mean is scientifically proven fact. The reference in the Manchester article to the Bridgewater Canal, Worsley which depicts the canal as orange in colour in incorrect. The colour of the water, in the true sense of the word colour is colourless. Any colour observed is due to suspended particles in the water which are not, and I quote "due to clay". The orange suspension is due to the vast quantity of iron (III) oxide from the vast underground mineworkings and underground canal network which "stretch to Warrington" wahey.
