I'm not being pedantic (I hope) but I thought in Love Actuaslly, Colin Firth's character went to France to get over his girlfriend's betrayal? You said he went to Portugal. I know Aurelia was Portugese, but when he was introduced to Aurelia, he tried to speak to her but the landlady said she didn't speak French, just like him. I could be wrong and only the landlady was French.

I thought it was France too. At the end when he goes to get her he flies to Marseille.

Fair point! I did get that wrong. I rewatched the film this Christmas and you've got me banged to rights!
