Pimms do you 'pose' a solution or 'propose' a solution? (section on Construction: Cratos's solution) - I would normally only 'pose' a problem ("coo, that's a poser!"), rather than an answer. Just musing

or I picked up the phrase from a site that was translated and only clarified/altered the end of the sentence.
or he didn't pro-pose anything, he just did it.
