Dearest MikeA
What has happened to the paragraphs? Perhaps they got lost in the moving about! It has become a rather solid block of text!! Otherwise - no complaints - well done!

Curiously enough, you're the second person to mention a lack of paragraphing. It seems to be sorted out now, however
I notice that there seems to be a missing link to rice, however. Take a peek in the margin...

I see what you mean. The word 'rice' in the article has not been linked. This was obviously the intention, otherwise why put it in the panel? Who can change this?

I have also notice an error that has crept in. Under the sub-heading 'Regional Variations' it says, 'The Japanese word for chpsticks is...' It should read chopsticks. I know that is not your mistake, Michael, it is something that has been added subsequently. Are you in contact with whoever should put that right?

Yeah, I reckon I am. I'm uncertain about how this process works, but methinks I can contact the right person and have it sorted out.
I've found another article of mine with a missing link in it. I'll be asking Ashley about this (for he is the person I contact on stuff like this)

I've just had another look at 'Chopsticks'. The spelling mistake was, er... mine. Sorry about that. I've corrected it. I've also changed the rice entry link which is now related to the word 'rice' in the text and which appears as a Referenced Entry. It wasn't actually incorrect before. When you saw the word 'rice' in the right hand column previously, it was under RELATED entries. This means that it doesn't have to actually appear in the text to merit a reference. The fact that the word DOES appear in the text, however, means that it's best to link to it directly. So I changed it back.
Anyhow, great work - this is a cool entry.

Referenced/related...I'dnever really 'got' those things before. Thanks for explaining it, Sam .
When can we expect to see this on the front page?

What's the average wait for an entry to go up? I must have loads on the waiting list *^_^*

I haven't checked the rest of the articles I've subbed...certainly my two entries that have been edited have been waiting ages *^_^*

We had a weird experience here, in Malaysia. There were six of us Europeans dining in a Chinese restaurant surrounded by Chinese, and we were the only people using chopsticks! Everybody else was eating with a spoon and fork!

When in Rome, do as the Vandals...
Last time I was in a Chinese restaurant...I may have used chopstix, but I cannot remember *^_^*
