also rather scary. I've been reading a bit about ethics recently. My mother has had to cover some of that in training to be an interpreter, and ethics manuals tend to be either very general or extremely specific. Both types are interesting, whether they look at the broad principles across all fields, or focus on the minutea of a certain field.

Very good work, this. My mother worked for the city of Philadelphia's AIDS Activities Coordinating Office, and I can tell you what she told me: The experiment caused untold deaths for decades afterwards on account of African-Americans not trusting doctors.
