Oh thee of little cranial capacity. You have all missed the point entirely, the term "big fat elephants fanny" is actually a trendy bar
terminology phrase, it roughly translates as:
Semi-chic, city dwelling, with art deco ensembles, reflecting the neo-technical/bohemian attitude amongst young people today whilst fulfilling the need for todays elitist society to relax in an environment that is both fresh and non challenging to their intellects, after a hard days graft at the big fat elephants fanny factory..................i'm sorry it is hard to resist!

Nope the whole world has gone to theme bar hell!
A few years back a few friends and I went into one such establishment..Im not going to name the bar and the place. Anyway it was the afternoon..and there was noboby in the bar ( theme bars semm to be only places where people drink in the evening) Anyway we situated ourselves at the bar, ordered something that resembled a pint of guiness. We then began to notice there seem to be some sort of ghostly murmer of conversation about an other wise deserted bar. I asked the bar man what this was..his reply was
"well we pipe in taped converstion..you know to provide some sort atmosphere for folks"..after I picked my self up from the floor I aske him why. He sais it was something about not enough people were talking.
I have never set foot in such a place again..they are nothing more that "Fast food" out lets..well they have the same atmospher..get in as fast you can and get out as fast.

Hello everybody!
My name's Stefano,I'm an italian guy u lived in UK for nearly 3 years since july 2003.I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing replying with this e mail but I have some question to ask...
Since I moved in England to work and learn English I really enjoied the english atmosphere.The weather is not the best but I think is important feel well with people around us.I miss a lot my friends in UK cos is so "open mind" and "free" country that you can have friends of all the nationalities.This thing is pratically impossible in Italy cos most of us are racist and corrupt.Basicly I not feel anymore confortable in my country and sometimes I dream to come back in UK.I've done a cathering school nearly 10 years ago and I used to be a chef de rang,waiter, or assistant manager, it depend frok the restaurants/bars i worked in.Even in Italy my job is always be the same.Now, after 10 years experience I'm 26 and I feel ready to open my own business but here is too hard becouse of the laws and our shitty government.I'd really like to open a small bar in UK but I don't know how to have an alcool license and someone whos believe in me and my capacities.If there are people who can help me I will really appriciate your help!My contact e mail is: [email protected]
