Does anyone really want to know why there is no platform 5 at
Cardiff Central? They do? Well here goes then. Arrhhm (clearing my throat), platform 5 was a bay platform on the wide Barry end of platforms 6 and 7. It was used for the service down to the Docks, to Clarence Bridge which runs at approx 90 degrees from the Bute Road service from Queen St. Fascinated? Still awake? Well, the
service ended years ago and that's it.
