Hi Rich,
I think it would be a good idea to put a picture about visigothian jewlry or art in this entry.
Something like this:
http://www.arteguias.com/orfebreria-visigoda.htm
They are modern reproductions, but it gives an idea.

They are beautiful! But what are they based on? I didn't think the Visigoths left very much at all. In the UK, a lot of Celtic jewellery is sold, but none of it is in the style the Celts would wear. I'm very interested, because as far as I knew the Visigoths left no trace at all - if there is some jewellery in a museum somewhere then that is very important for the entry

Hi Rico,
I googled joyas visigodas. There are links to museums, etc.
I´m thinking now... the Museo Arqueológico, there are many in Spain and they content jwels, capitels...
You must visit Toledo, boy.
It is also worth mentioning the lexicon they left, little and about administration, war and politic: espía, (spy), guerra (war), etc. ah! escote (cleveage)
From Arab we have about 4000 words and a lot of toponyms.
Key: Complain about this post
