you can paint with it and call it: aquarell or watercolor painting.
William Turner ( english painter early 19 century) one of the greatest watercolorist. (My opinion) there were others too...

I am so glad somehow this WATER issue came up, because of my NEWBIE status I did not know how to get back to a topic I wanted to respond and further on, don't drink the water yet because in the Winter Olympics there are very many uses for the frozen water. Yeah, I know about Icecating, but not the way they do it today.
Do you know that Hawaii claims to be short on drinking water??? In the middle of the Pacific Ocean???
Now I feel much better that I said something else beside identifying myself as Jung Wing = 211101 And thank you for giving me this great opportunity to talk to somebody else beside myself. ( Though the issue is: do you listen what I say or is the same thing: writing letter to myself because it is not interesting or what???... About those faces??? I know them from Yahoo. but your h2g2 set up is still under discovery for me. I am not doing this all day,-- I was baking cookies for my " hungry" fat friends among other things, also had to play with my adopted dog, Babe, who is not living with me. "Cute ' endig for the day.J.W.

DEAR FRIEND= Argon0 IT TOOK ME 2 WEEKS TO FIND MY ENTRY ABOUT THE WATER ISSUE.
AS YOU SEE I CAN BE REALLY LOST, BUT SOMEHOW ONE STILL CAN FIND THE END OF THE ROPE IF IT COMES TO DESPERATION.
I DID NOT LOOK FOR WATER AT THIS TIME, BUT AS EVERY BIG DISCOVERY COMES UP ACCIDENTLY I CHEERFULLY GREET THE OCCASION THAT MY CURIOSITY DID NOT KILL THE CAT, BUT LED ME TO THIS REPLY TO A REPLY OF 2 WEEKS AGO. ONE OF MY VERY FIRST ENTRIES AS NEWBIEEEE!
IF YOU WOULD REPLY AGAIN--- TO MAKE THINGS EASIER--- I AM PROMOTED TO THE KEEPERS GROUP WHICH IS FUNCIONING THROUGH YAHOO.
I HAVE A YAHOO E-MAIL: [email protected] I CAN BE REACHED THERE ALSO. i am looking for intellectual thought exchange. i am a very mature humble human who paints ( pictures) mostly inspired from the microcosmos. As a keeper I promised to keep my big mouth shot until I know what I am talking about. Have a Cheeeeerful New Year. Jung Wing researcher: 211101

Be carefull when talking about water in other languages as it is often a pseudonym for something alcoholic. Remember gin and tonics? Whsky is from gaelic -water of life. French for the same is eau de vie which is brandy. The Russian vodka is the dimunuitive of the word voda which is our friendly h2o. This can also work the other way. See Cider in Algeria under Cider.
sticky water
ZMB Posted Oct 27, 2004
Apart from the neat expanding ice trick, which is really good for fish, water is also sticky which is good for insects like water skaters.
At any moment in time only 15% of water molecules are actually taking part in being sticy, otherwise belly flops would hurt more.

Its why you'd die if you jumed off of a high bridge (like Sydney Harbour)... Also why High Divers have their pool sprayed with water jets.
