Though they are no longer to come into fruition, John Lloyd I think it was, mentioned on the Blackadder special on Radio 4 said Elton and Curtis had ideas for:
Blackadder V (Which I can only presume was about Henry V and his tantrums which would have great comedy potential)
and
The Six Wives of Blackadder, which you can guess was about Henry VIII...
