Good Angel - recently become obsessed to the point of psychosis with the film 'Bio-Dome' Posted Jul 18, 2001
Hey, the voices went away but only by dunking my head in a sink full of Pineapple Bacardi Breezer and listening to Mogwai.
Maybe the Manics had the ideas for the photos and the other guy just took the pictures?

Could be. I'm in a band at the moment and my friend has this amazing photo she took herself that we are considering using as an album sleeve one day
BTW I found a copy of Masses Against The Classes last week for £5.99, even though cos it was near closing time they said I could have it for a fiver

Good Angel - recently become obsessed to the point of psychosis with the film 'Bio-Dome' Posted Aug 29, 2001
This Is Yesterday, Yes, Small Black Flowers That Grow In The Sky, Stay Beautiful, Motorcycle Emptiness and La Tristesse Durera, although I love the intro to Elvis Impersonator: Blackpool Pier. There was a question about Roses In The Hospital on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire...

LOL what was the question then?
My faves are (from each album, dunno which one is my BIG fave...): Stay beautiful, You Love Us, So Dead, Little Baby Nothing, Natwest Barclays Midlands, Lloyds, Sleepflower, From Dispair To Where, Life Becoming A Landslide, Symphony Of Tourette, Yes, This Is Yesterday, Design For Life, Enola/Alone, Everything Must Go, Further Away, No Surface All Feeling, Ready For Drowning, Ocean Spray, Epicenter.....I think thats it!
I also love the intro for Elvis Impersonator

I believe the question was: what type of flowers were 'in the hospital' in the title of the Manic Street Preachers 1993 hit single? a) lilies, b) orchids, c) roses, or d) some other flower that I can't remember. It was for £32,000 and the guy didn't know the answer, didn't have any lifelines and left with £16,000. I'm fairly sure that's what happened. Needless to say I was screaming at the tv.

Sick Bob. (Most recent incarnation of the Dark Lord Cyclops. Still lord and master of the Anti Squirrel League and Keeper of c Posted Sep 6, 2001
I remember that. For some hideous reason I owned every Manics album except for "Gold..." at that time and, please don't hit me, didn't know the answer. I bought the album the next day in embarrassment and shame. I still think it's a weaker track though when compared to "From despair to where" and "La trisstesse Durerra" and "Yourself" should had been a single. Just my opinion though.

Yeah I totally agree with you there that Yourself shouldve been a single. I think Sleepflower should of as well
