I have many friends here, who like the beach boys... and always when our biology facultaty has a party.. there's beach boys...
But it's songs like.. surfing usa,,, and it's not the beach boys stuff I appreciate.. If I want to listen to 'surf' music, I'll listen to Dick Dale... I find songs like 'tears', 'disney girls' and 'god only knows' real beauties..... Stuff that most of my friends never heard ofsmiley - sadface

Yeah, me too...
Surprising to see you mention two Bruce Johnston songs there - I love his BBs songs (hate his solo stuff tho) but most fans despise that music...

I know what you mean.... I saw many band members go solo.. and it's just not the same as it is with the band.... Everybody thinks they're as good on their own as in the band... but every member gives a peace of identity... and that's gone as soon as one goes solo....

I also love Bruce Johnston's stuff fot the Beach Boys - particularly the instrumental 'The Nearest Faraway Place'.
