What I want to know is: where are these pubs where you can drink and watch football on a Sunday morning? Obviously not in Britain, where in yet another act of oppression perpetrated by the Christian minority, the pubs have to stay shut until noon on that day. smiley - sadface

No such law in the US, my friend. The earliest opening pubs that I know of around here open their doors around 10:00 am, which coincides directly with the kickoff time of the early games. smiley - smiley

Gotta love a place halfway committed to seperation of church and state. *Hums a few bars of the Star Spangled Banner* smiley - winkeye

I'm sure that's true, GB, but before the end of this year you have to choose between two self-proclaimed Born Again Christians in your Presidential election. And if Bush wins then (given American culture's global influence) then may some passing deity or other help us all. smiley - sadface

That's why I'm casting my vote for Harry Browne of the Libertarian Party. He hasn't a snowball's chance in hell of winning, but at least when one of those right-wing nuts starts screwing up the country, I can take a break from packing for my escape to Australia long enough to yell, "I told you so!" smiley - winkeye
