You used really popular examples to illustrate your text wich makes it easy to grasp even for me who is across the atlantic ocean and know so little about british culture. Great entry, well written.
There is one thing I must corrrect, though. Disney did cover 'Jack And The Beanstalk' in the form of a short featuring Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. It's even one of the classics!
