For a particularly humorous example of the funny qualities of nihilism, refer to the motion picture "The Big Lebowski." It is, by the way, an excellent work of cinema, in my humble opinion.

this is a problem. if you believe in nothing, then presumably you cannot believe in belief. If you don't believe in belief then you cannot believe in nothing.
don't fall into the trap of thinking that you must therefore believe in something - no
you nothing in nothing
now that is real nihilism

oh for goodness sake - so now we have a nihilist who believes in verbs!
I noth
You nooth
He nowt
We noths
You nothing
They nothings
I would offer this as a kind of proof that the universe is pointless but I think you can probably refute the nooth element.

I don't think it means belief in nothing in a literal sense. It means following no set systems of belief, rather than believing that nothing exists.

I believe the punk movement was supposedly nihilistic...dont know how it turned into the modern day "hardcore" uber-PC movement though...
BTW : The Big Lebowski. Fantastic film.
