Quotes - Who said them?

Hi Roundley,
Yup. The blue monster it was.
As for the other one, think Dick Solomon and John Walton.

Of course ...
Dick Solomon means John Lithgow. Large sums of money in plane means Cliffhanger.
I seem to recall him saying it to either Sly or Sly's mountain man partner when they were sniping about traipsing around the mountain looking for lost luggage.
Good guy: "What's in this case that's so important, anyway?" (...ish)
JL: "Shirts, suits, $100 million..."
Here's one that's a bit obscure...
"I'm driving!"

Is that the really obnoxious rich guy from Caddyshack, when someone interrupts his tee shot?

Nice try, but no.
There's a particular characteristic of the driver that makes the statement so memorable.

Quotes - Who said them?
Wolfie Posted Mar 28, 2002
So now I'm thinking blind people; Stevie Wonder apparently did drive one time, but not in a film I don't think. There was that Gene Wilder / Richard Pryor film (can't remember the name) where one of them was blind; coudl be that.
Apart from that, I'm pretty stuck.

You're on the right track, but you haven't picked the right blind guy yet.
He was able to drive because someone was talking him through it.

Would it be Al Pacino in 'Scent of a Woman' perchance?

Another good guess, but not the right one. Well, actually, I think he might have said that too, on reflection, but it's not the one I was looking for.
He was being guided to drive through a mostly empty parking lot.

None of these clues are really helping Roundley. Anything more? (Please!)

Quotes - Who said them?
Roundley The Terminator Posted Apr 4, 2002
Ok, how about.
The vehicle is being driven into and through a parking lot to collect the person who is guiding the driver from the building to which the parking lot belongs. The person being collected watches and guides from the rooftop using binoculars. It's night, the driver is wearing sunglasses.

Quotes - Who said them?
Roundley The Terminator Posted Apr 10, 2002
Because it's you, Wolfie.
The movie is Sneakers. Robert Redford is on the roof of an industrial building owned by Ben Kingsley, having stolen a secret computer chip. He's guiding his blind accomplice (who's name I can't remember) by two-way radio to drive their van through a fence, across a carpark and upto (almost into) the building).
Just what does a fedora taste like?

Chomp! Chomp! Chomp! This Trilby really needs a bit more salt.
I can't remember how many times I've seen that damn film. Aarrrggghhh! So annoying.
Anyway, what's next?

Wolfie Posted Apr 16, 2002
This osunds like it should be someone talking Arnie, Stallone or Willis, but I can't pin it down more than that at the moment. It surely does sound mighty familiar though.
