Good job, researchers!

Living in Montreal I must say you all did a very good job.

Now, all we need are a discussion of the Quiet Revolution of the 60s and a quick wrap-up on separation, and the best ways to change the topic when that comes up smiley - smiley

The Order of Undesirability

I agree: good job. I am of USA origin and have visited different parts of Quebec and adjoining provinces several times, particularly once each year for the last three years. I've found the province to be a nice place to visit, and the Quebecois to be uniformly friendly. But then, I do try to speak French to them.

My only quibble is over the order of undesirability. I understand how USA origin is less undesirable than any English Canadian origin except maybe the Maritimes. But is the least desirable origin really Alberta? I would have figured that Ontario was the most evil opposite of Quebec, thereby being the least desirable place in the world to visit Quebec from. I've met more than one Ontarian who recommended that I avoid Quebec, so I suspect they've had some bad experiences there.
