A recently deceased fellow was surpised at the Pearly Gates when stopped by the gate keeper who said they had instituted a numerical systwem for entry.
Answer my questions get more than fifty points and the gates open.
Question- why should we admit you?
A. I was married for over sixty years and nevr cheated on my wife.
That's a good start the gate keeper said but only worth one point.
What else?
A. Since my youth I have attended church and paiod a tenth of my income to support the church.
OK the gate keeper said we will give you two more points.
what else?
A. I voluntarily ran a soup kitchen and fed the homeless.
The gate keeper smiled. That gives you four more points.
the applicant was getting exaspirated.
At this rate I will need the grace of God to get through those gates.
Hearing the words Grace of god the gate keeper pushed a button and the gates swung open.
