I go the idea for this from a magazine.

OK, here's a few to get you going.

At the moment, if a character has an English accent, he's a baddie.

In films set in the Middle Ages, all the characters are filthy, have unwashed, matted hair and clothes that are on the verge of falling apart. But their teeth are still gleaming white (the only exception to this I can think of is Monty Python and the Holy Grail).

In any chase sequence, it will always be the woman who falls over, necessitating a rescue by the square-jawed hero.
