A Conversation for Public Transport

The last time I was on a bus I found I only had a £10 note for a 70p fare. I pleaded with the conductor who wanted to put me off. The lady sitting next to me paid it. That made my day. I've had the chance to do the same for others since.
The last time my sister was on the underground she witnessed a stabbing. There were 9 people in the carriage, not counting the todler she had in a push-chair. In court she discovered she was the only witness. She received death threats. The police put a man on her fron door in Islington for a few days. She no longer lives in London.
