Mix a bit of vinegar with water and place in a spray bottle. It makes a great window cleaner. I think it's also used in the pickling process for pickles of various types too though I could be wrong about that. It's been a lot of years since I helped my paternal grandmother make homemade pickles.

Yes, its used in pickling!
Pour 1/2 cup baking soda in a slow drain, add 1/2 cup of vinegar. Fill the kettle and boil water. This allows the baking soda and vinegar "volcano" to work through the clog. Pour the boiling water down the drain - usually works very well!
