Dandelion Pegleen

Apart from the recent "Joymachine" Car commercials in Britain - has anybody else tried popping bubble wrap by rolling over it? smiley - smiley

During my last job in the UK, I was part of the IT team involved in relocating an office of 250 lawyers & support staff across a city centre. A lot of bubble wrap ensued. One tired evening during the weekend of the actual move, I carpeted the new IT work area (can't call it an office because it didn't have a DOOR!) in bubble wrap. Plopped m'self on a wheelie chair and whee! Or Rather, POPPOPPOPOPOPOPOPOP! Joy, rapture, bliss - fit of giggles and looks of disgust from all my mates who wish they'd had the lack of pride to give it a go first!

If you like bubble wrap, you'll LOVE rolling over it in an office chair! smiley - smiley

Blatherskite the Mugwump - Bandwidth Bandit

I too work in IT, and all the repair parts at my last job came wrapped in bubbles. Once we received an equipment upgrade that required large amounts of bubble wrap. We put all the bubble wrap in a single box at the front end of the workshop, by the door. Nobody, whether they worked there or not, could pass the box without quickly digging a hand in and popping a couple. Later on, we carpeted select, heavily traveled walkways in the shop with it. No wheeled chairs were available, but everyone stepped rather heavily. Very satisfying nonetheless. smiley - smiley
