I actually quite like Pot Noodles, an admission which people seem to have difficulty reconciling with my propensity to refer to them as "Pot Toenails". Actually, most people would rather eat toenails.

Got to admit, I loved the Chicken and Mushroom flavour, but my desire kind of went off the boil when I glanced down the ingredient list on the side and read
"ANTI-CAKING AGENT - SILICON DIOXIDE"
I read it again. No mistake. It said Si02, Silicon Dioxide.
The thought arose: Why am I paying 42p a time to eat common sand, of the sort that can be found on any beach?
(This was circa 1985, if the price reference confuses).
but hot damn, the thought of a chicken and noodle flavour is growing on me.... Rhyl beach included or not.
