A Conversation for 'Abbey Road' - the Album
Abbey Road - The best Beatles album?

In my opinion Abbey Road is the best album The Beatles ever made. For my money it's more entertaining than Sergeant Pepper but without the sometimes raspy-sounding effects that were presumably included in order to create the 'flower-power' feel of the album. However, being a devout Beatle's fan makes me inclined towards almost anything they ever recorded.

In my opinion I have to agree. The 2nd side (which you now don't get on a cd ) is musical genius at it's very best. In fact, going from She's So Heavy into Here Comes The Sun was a moment of musical brilliance.
I know people get wound up with The Beatles saying they're over rated.
This is one damn good argument for over raters.
Have a cake
