A Conversation for 'With the Beatles' - the Album
Just looked in my own 'selection"

Reading this Entry, I just looked at my own selection of beatles songs I burned at CD and none of this album appears to be on it.
Doesn't mean that I (born 1951, Netherlands) did not like it in those days, but ,as life itself, also The Beatles evolved and evolved and in their case it was for the better.
Aacording to Lennon the group became "mature" at Let it Be and Abbey Road.
May be so, I for myself prefer their songs from 1964 - 1967.
Beautiful ballads, lyrics, streight from the heart.
I remember the day of the release, because at that day my eldest brother married and I was the one who took care of the guestbook at the entrance of the celebration hall.
My father proclaimed that evening that he expected war was at hand.
Not because of the beatles..., but, yes Kennedy, and finally in 2006
the world has to face the dull truth behind the murder; the work of
Cuban spies.
greetings from beautiful Amsterdam
