This is a very good Entry, and has featured in the Showcase, on the Front Page - but we lack an image. If anyone reads this and happens to be in Illinois - with a camera, please could they email it to either guideeditors at h2g2.com or artists at h2g2.com. Thanks!

I've actually been meaning to take a pic since I wrote this. Came close one afternoon, but it got too dark before we made it back close to town.
I'll put it on my list of things to do when it warms up some. Unless someone beats me to it.

Sent one to the eds just the other day, hopefully they can apply it soon. Sent some others for the Route 66 pages as well.

Thanks broelan
I've received them and sent them to the artists to make into the correct sizes, so you should see these added to the relevant Entries at our earliest opportunity.
Really great photos though, and thanks for sending them through.

Any chance there'll be a photo on this soon? I noticed most of the other Route 66 photos were added, but this one, which was requested, never did.
Not being pushy, just curious.

Hi broelan
Sorry, I was away from h2g2 for a long time, I've only just got back.... (long story) I'll have to take a look at what happened here, my memory isn't so great. Bear with me while I take a look.
In the meantime - great to see you again! I keep coming across things you've written and have missed your presence.

Hi broelan,
I found your photo, it was "on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying "Beware of The Leopard"
Very sorry about that. I've sent another copy to the Artists and we should have it added to this Entry within the next 24hours.

Hi Lanza! Sorry I was sounding a bit petulant. Since I'm away most of the time myself, I hadn't realized you'd been out.
Thanks for your kind words I wish I had time to write more, but a lot has changed in the last few years and I just don't have the time. Although just yesterday I jotted down a couple of notes about an entry I'd like to write someday. Probably it will be irrelevant before I find the time.
I miss this place and most of the people here! I keep thinking I should just pop in to Ask once or twice a week just to keep a toe in it, then when I have a few minutes I get busy with something else and forget all about it.
Thanks for finding the photo. I appreciate your help, and I especially appreciate the time and effort you and all the other volunteers have devoted to keeping this going when it looked a little rocky. This place means a lot to a lot of people. Thank you.

You're welcome broelan, and glad to hear you may pop in to visit now and then. We've had quite a few long time members reappear, I think the 14th Birthday celebration brought a good many back onto the site.
Take care!
