You've hit upon my favourite subject.
This information may now be hopelessly out of date, but the best kebab shop in South London used to be in Balham, just along the road from the Duke of Devonshire pub. I can't remember the name, but if it's still there it's definitely worth a visit (or was).
Not much help, am I?

Well, that's north and south London covered: if you are in central London, try Bosphorus Kebabs in South Kensington. Slightly more expensive, but the finest kebab in London
