A Conversation for The World's Best Curry Houses
The Royal Naim

The Royal Naim, on the Startford Road, Birmingham (UK) is a great restaurant for the simple reason that they are credited with inventing the Balti as a dish and that they won the local student rag's Curry House of the Year award for every year I was in said city.
Highlights: The balti chicken and mushroom is a steady staple, the sweet lhassi is good and the indian sweets afterwards can induce a sugar rush unlike anything else on the planet. No liquor licence, but they will let you bring your own and don't charge a corkage.
