A Conversation for The World's Best Curry Houses

The Raj, Edinburgh, Scotland

Post 1

The Raj is an institution, one of the all time greats.

Housed in a former cinema with a great view over the waters of Leith, The Raj is an unpretentious good value Indian Restaurant (I make the distinction from a Curry House). As well as excellent food and great atmosphere The Raj has a final trick up its sleeve. For quite sometime now from Sundays until Thursdays the restaurant charges 1983 prices.

Recommended dishes: Well practically anything, good varied menu specialising in real taste experiences rather than just hot gloop. My favourite is Bengal Green Chicken.

Many recommended pubs nearby.

I'll post the full address and details later, when I can find them.

Key: Complain about this post
