Perhaps surprisingly given its conspicuous shortage of mutlicultural community, the Bournemouth/Poole area is a fine place to have a curry.
The Parkstone Tandoori in Ashley Road, Poole used to be absolutely excellent and is still very good.
The Eye Of The Tiger has good food but the service is a bit slow, and it's a little pricey.
The Prince of India at Poole Quay is reliable.
Momtaz in Boscombe always used to be a very safe choice, though they did once make me a vindaloo so hot I couldn't eat it.
There are also some new ones which look very exciting, especially one in Penn Hill, but I haven't tried them myself.
A little further out, the Indian Palace in Verwood is very good indeed.
