ISLANDIA. by Decree of EU 2020

It has been decided by the larger and improved Greater United European States that Henceforth it shall be entitled The Greater United States of Europe.

It has issued the following decrees :-

Britain must hand over all its titles and holdings to The Greater United States of Europe .

It has been decided that this State may not not be called Great, as this implies it is better than the rest of the E U .

It cannot be named Britain, as it contains differing provinces within its borders .

Henceforth it will be named ISLANDIA .

Scotland ,England and Wales will be integrated into this new Greater United States of Europe .

Thus it will become a State in the Greater United States of Europe .

Northern Ireland will be incorporated into our existing member ,namely Eire ,thus making it the Isle of Ireland .

There will be but one Capital of ISLANDIA, which will be London as it is nearest to the headquarters of the Greater United States of Europe's Community .

Edinburgh and Cardiff may be allowed to deem themselves Capitals .But only of the Regions of Scotland and Wales respectively .

ISLANDIA will be allowed:- as will every other Greater United European State to nominate one person (of either sex) as allowed in the Greater United European States rules, to put themself forward as a candidate for the position of Greater United European States President, which will be for a term as fixed by the ruling Greater United States of Europe's General Council's Parliament.

The person elected as leader of ISLANDIA will automatically assume the position of Ambassador to the Greater United States of Europe .

A Parliament may be elected for the country of ISLANDIA , but will be under the democratic control of the Greater United States of European General Council.

ALL control of budgetary decisions must first be ratified by the General Council of the Greater United States of Europe's European Union .

Defence will be controlled by discussion and decision of the Greater United States of Europe Defence Council.

These decisions will take effect immediately by order of the Greater United States of Europe's General Council.
