A Conversation for Wedding Etiquette
Don't annoy your mother in law

Big tip here, especially for grooms.
Do not, under any circumstances, crack a one liner during your speech that could, by the remotest possibility, be interpreted as a dirty joke.
I did, it was, I think, not a bad joke considering the speech was written the night before when I was slightly drunk. However my mother in law did not think it was funny. Not at all. My freinds did, the video is overloaded by their guffaws. My mother in law's lips got thin.
Since then I haven't been her favourite person, other, worse, son in laws have been more popular at her house. It is not something I recomend to anyone.
What I said was this.......
I would like to thank my new wife's parents for having such a wonderful daughter.....and for letting me 'have' her
It was all in the delivery I tell you... all in the delivery
