A nightmare?

My wedding wasn't a nightmare at all (apart from the actually being married bit). It was very simple to organise. My other half-to be went to the registery office and booked a date for three weeks (the earliest without a special licence) and we turned up and got married. We had no pomp and ceremony.
The only problem we had was that my dad initially refused to be a witness because he wanted to give me away, so we did have to explain that wasn't going to be happening. Not much help for the entry I'm afraid, but I don't often get a chance to talk about the wedding. Much more complicated was the divorce bit.
We also had a 'sit where you fancy' rule. So my contribution to this is that in Essex, it's a kind of free for all.
