I enjoyed this, and it cast my mind back to when I performed a modernised version of the Tales by Michael Bogdanovich and Phil Woods, retold in the form of an annual Tales telling competition. I played the Miller, which was a fun comic role.
Are you planning to write about the Decameron further? I only have a sketchy idea of what Bocaccio created.

(is there a misplaced 's' on 'characters' in the line Homer's Iliad is mentioned in the section on Troilus and Cressida, or am I reading it wrong?)

Yes, by gum, there is a misplaced "s". I'll post to editorial feedback.
I'm not planning anything of on the Decameron. I'm not planning much, right now.
