You're right. I hadn't previously given much thought to Christmas in the Lebanon! Aren't Christmas traditions delightful? Well, any holiday where people go all out I suppose.
I particularly enjoyed the idea of the cress jungle.
Incidently, our church was always terminally progressive, and so I'd always been told that Jesus was born in a cave, for the reason that caves were used as stables in that part of the world at that time.

Anglican. But when I tell you it was the first shared church in the UK (ie the same building used for Anglican's Catholics and Methodists), you'll know what I mean about terminally progressive...
