A Conversation for 'A Christmas Carol' - Five Film Adaptations

The Muppets Christmas Carol is the best adaptation I have seen. The original story is a fantastic tale with an obvious moral behind it, and the Muppets version carries it off wonderfully. The thing I like about it most is that it satisfies the serious adult in me, and makes sure my inner child doesn't start to whine by giving it something to enjoy to. One of the few films (and almost certainly the only adaptation of a classic) that offers something for everyone of any age bar only the most humourless grumpy grandparent.

IT was on the tv recently, myself and my son loved it, although we were disappointed that Mis Piggy didn't beat anyone up.
