Through careful research while at university, I have come up with a system that seldom fails.

Campbells chicken soup. You get up first thing in the morning and ingest a whole can of chicken noodle soup. Ideally you add about 3/4 of the recomended water to reduce the volume and eat the whole thing. Under the worst circumstances (ie the inability to stand) you may only want to ingest the liquid portion and then lie very still (or sleep) for about and hour. At this point, get up slam back a few painkillers and be on your way.

Or start drinking again.
