According to the Daily Telegraph, UK (19/03/05) scientists in Assam, India have developed the tea pill. It can be dissolved under the tongue or dissolved in water for sipping. Patents are now pending. This has been done at the world's largest tea research facility, the Toklai Experimental Station in Jorhat, Assam.
Apparently the prototype is somewhat bitter but scientists are reformulating it to suit western tastes.
