For your own future employment prospects you should not load SETI on a work computer. As most commercial organisations use a central server bank to provide memory to your PC, the SETI programme kicks in and starts to download data to process, utilisating available power on your machine - in a work environment this has been known to crash an entire location.

Of course, downloading stuff like screensavers from the internet is generally frowned upon by employers anyway. You might however be able to sell it to the IT guys as corporate social responsibility, though...
