Gio's Italian Restaurant, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

1 Conversation

Gio's is a small Italian restaurant on the west side of Yonge Street, just north of Davisville subway station in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Sometimes, it's referred to as 'the big nose' owing to the large, pink, fibreglass nose hanging above the door.

The food at Gio's is very good as it is freshly cooked by an authentic Italian grandmother. It features fresh local ingredients and the menu changes frequently. The ambience is noisy and rambunctious; try not to be alarmed by the underwear hanging from lines across the room, and copious congratulatory graffiti by patrons.
