Week4 as a Mum

The combination feeding is working a treat and H is just such a happy baby. He has long sleeps and long wakeful periods and has started to talk to his toys. Last night I got a massive 7 hours sleep so feel almost human again and this morning he only wanted a nuzzle at the breast and he has conked out again.
next weekend we are going to visit my family for his first time and I am dreading the amount of stuff we will need to take with us. I think I better go and hire a removal truck now!

He is 6 weeks old and is happy as anything. Unfortunately I am starting to suffer from sleep deprivation as Harry's night feeds take 2-3 hours to complete so we have decided to switch to formula now. It is a shame but I just cannot take being awake for that long during the night. He has put on loads of weight and last week was 10lb 6 1/2 oz. We are off to get him weighed soon and I reckon he will be at least 11 lb. He is smiling loads - especially at Doug, GRRRRRRRR! He also sticks his tongue out and is working up to a silent laugh! He has a very cheeky smile and picture is on its way by email to you.
