I am very impressed with your site, az. I particularly like the 'mouse over' colour change on 'Seville Tapas' at the top. Could the initial colour of the word maybe slightly clearer than the white? Greyish cream?

Small point of critism I'd make is that there does seem to be a huge piece of white space between the top and bottom.

But overall its great. Nice touch to have those azahar flowers.

Just looked again. maybe that white for Seville Tapas is ok, as it really lights up when you mouseover? Not sure.

It turns out (after two days of tweaking that theme with the help of a geek friend of mine) that the theme itself is rather unstable and has a tendency to 'break' depending on which OS is used.

For example, I get the 'sevilla tapas' name at the top in a deep burnt orange and it goes white when you click on it - you are obviously getting the opposite, Fanny. And I'm guessing that the 'huge piece of white space' is the missing welcome page. I've been told by others that it keeps 'disappearing', though it hasn't happened to me yet. For example, I can see it fine right now but it's missing for you.

And so, after all that work, the search is on for a new theme. But the new URL will stay the same.

So ... watch this space!

Yes I know about all the problems with different browsers. I use Safari for Mac.

But I presume you'll retain some elements like the flowers, and the mouseover effects. Its a shame you're having those problems, because from my perspective it was generally really impressive. And I really like the basic simplicity of it. There's nothing worse than a site that is visually overly busy.

Look forward to seeing it develop.

It'd be really helpful if people could always let you know which browser system they are using. I've done some web site stuff myself in the past and the various browser problems can be a real pain.

So after spending the afternoon looking for a new theme I've opted (temporarily, I think) for a very, very plain one.

Yeah, I miss the flowers (tiger lilies, btw, not azahar) but I might be able to do something with this header. Or maybe tomorrow when I'm less tired I'll try out some of the other themes I downloaded today.

A learning experience . . .
