26 November:
Today we take you to Scotland - okay, Scotland as envisioned in Southern California. That guy from the Commie-hunter show is playing a bagpipe, and Dr Smith from 'Lost in Space' is down in the Underworld and doesn't like the sound...it's pretty weird at the 'Devil in Glencairn'. Read at A87844017 .

Perish the thought!
In short: What I learned from it was that it is okay to use the word bastard on Hootoo - just not in plural

Actually the discussion took place in 2legs's thread
It only ended up here because of my greasy clumsy thumbs (all 10 of them) - honestly

If I may interrupt the insult comics for a moment, here's the NaJo entry for 27 November:
'Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde' is such a popular story that it's been made into well over a hundred adaptations. The one I've found, from 1955, is remarkable because it's a live TV performance starring Michael Rennie and written by none other than Gore Vidal. Find it at A87844053.
Now, as you were, you benighted lot.

Have it your way.
28 November:
For this quiet day after Thanksgiving, I recommend a little magic. No, not the Harry Potter kind. There's a bad pilot of Mandrake, with a better pilot of Bill Bixby's Magician, and a clip from Paul Daniels doing Robert-Houdin, all at A87844107.

Hearing about all the adventures people are having over the Thanksgiving weekend, I'm glad I've stayed at home. But today's tale is about more rugged types: those intrepid travellers of 'Safety Not Guaranteed'. Catch it at A87844125.

30 November:
Today's final episode of NaJoPoMo 2014 is at A87844224. It's a US PBS (Public Broadcasting) attempt at science fiction comedy filming starring Raul Julia. It's worth a look, I think.
And that concludes November's catalogue of Freebie Films. Over the next year, if you get bored enough, you can always refer to the handy archive for a film suggestion to while away an idle hour - and, as Bluebottle has pointed out, you might choose to use one of these offerings as a springboard for Guide Entry research.
Thanks for reading, and I hope everyone has enjoyed their NaJo experience.
Normal service will be resumed tomorrow, and people can go back to subscribing to journals.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
